Adidas x Alltimers Gazelle Super Shoes
As part of the collab between Adidas and Alltimers, these Gazelle Super Shoes are inspired by the original edition that was introduced in 1987, resulting in a retro skate look. The body of each shoe is lightweight with mesa brown hairy suede uppers and a silver pearlesque Alltimers cocktail glass, embossed on the tongue. Taking a stripped back approach to design, this edition doesnt feature the expected three panelled stripes across the side but instead perforation detailing. The silver heel tab has a custom Adidas x Alltimers logo in blue, which ties in with the branded sock liner. The chalk white outsole includes a Geoflex tread design which provides a high level of grip and flex which results in quality board feel.
The hairy suede featured on this style nods to the light hearted character of New York City skate label, Alltimers. Combining a classic Adidas Gazelle silhouette and an orange-hue hairy suede results in an unexpected skate shoe that is reminiscent of the original silhouette, with an injection of fun.
